Flocking Lips

2012

Flocking lips is an attempt to create a natural emergent system by using characteristics of faces of its visitors. Installation records movement of lips of each visitor for several seconds, and creates individuals of the flocking system where each individual mimics a visitor’s lips.

It uses FaceOSC+Syphon to detect faces and communicates with Processing for simulating flocking with recorded lips.
