Voronoi Night

2013
Collaborators: Matthew Briggs

Voronoi Night is an attempt to use a mathematical pattern –Voronoi Diagram (Voronoi) in this case– to create audio and visuals; and combine this with projection mapping techniques. The visual and audio output in this project acts differently on different buildings since the points that creates the diagram are picked on the building depending on the architectural features of the facade. Naturally and randomly moving autonomous entities in the animation manipulates the sound depending on how their size change as they move on the facade.

Developed with Max/MSP and Processing.
